Nutrition-related health deals with problems such as obesity, type II diabetes, cardiovascular heart disease and certain forms of cancer which contribute significantly to mortality and illness. It is also concerned with malnutrition, which is a major cause of childhood deaths in developing countries where food insecurity and nutrient deficiencies continue to exist.
