Professional placements provide a supervised learning experience for students within a work environment and are a negotiated partnership between the organisation and the nominated supervisor, the student and the University.
This placement resource is for students in a health or human services discipline, external placement supervisors and the organisations providing placements and is designed to
- enhance efforts to achieve safe, effective placement experiences
- provide guidance on policy and procedure
- provide placement information specific for the health and human services disciplines, including legislative obligations
- outline processes for placements.
