Innovative program
Our pharmacy program is innovative and responsive to the needs of the profession and the community.
We offer a unique double degree with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical application as the pathway towards registration as a pharmacist.
State-of-the-art facilities
You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in our purpose-built Griffith Health Centre on the Gold Coast. The Centre features a professional practice laboratory with a model dispensary, a dedicated formulation laboratory and aseptic dispensing unit, and research laboratories.
The Griffith Health Centre is part of an exciting Health and Knowledge Precinct which also incorporates the new $1.76 billion Gold Coast University Hospital, due to open early 2013. Griffith will work with the Gold Coast Health Service District to deliver health services and programs which are responsive to the community and which enhance student education, clinical training and medical research.
Strong industry links
Griffith's School of Pharmacy has established both research and teaching links with community pharmacists and hospitals in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, and holds joint appointments with external organisations.
As a graduate you will be well equipped to undertake the pharmacy internship program offered by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
Top research university
Griffith is also one of Australia's top 10 research universities* and has a strong research culture. Knowledge gained through our research means we are able to offer our students a richer learning experience.
