Nursing student with a patient

Today’s nurses are reflective practitioners who must not only react to illness and stress, but also be technically skilled, proactive and able to work in partnership with others in helping people enjoy healthier lives.

The experience you will gain from completing our undergraduate nursing degree will  help you to develop into a confident, effective, committed professional nurse, and a lifelong learner. This program, accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council, emphasises the practice-based nature of nursing and offers an exciting, coherent curriculum.

Our Postgraduate Nursing programs are structured to enable Registered Nurses and other health professionals to gain postgraduate qualifications at Graduate Certificate, Masters or Honours level in a chosen specialty area.  This structure facilitates interdisciplinary enquiry and learning and offers flexibility in program structure and mode of offering. Choose to specialise in areas including

  • Acute Care Nursing
  • Community and Primary Health Care
  • Critical Care Nursing
  • Emergency Nursing
  • Gerontology
  • Health Care Research
  • Health Professional Education
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Mental Health Nursing
  • Palliative Care
  • Sexual Health.
