Health4Life Challenge 2008

Dare to be healthy and be in the chance to win great prizes!

The Health4Life Challenge will be held on Saturday 23 August 2008 at Logan campus, Griffith University.

In 2007, Griffith University established the Health4Life Challenge as an initiative to promote and encourage better health practices to secondary school students. The aim of the challenge is for students to have fun whilst learning about healthy lifestyle choices and at the same time, educating peers and community members.

Drinking water can be apart of your Health 4 Life challenge.

The Challenge seeks to attract secondary school students to participate by providing them with an opportunity to extend and express themselves through the development of a digital project and poster based on a health topic. Students can enter individually or in groups. The objective of the Challenge is to foster creative responsiveness and innovative thinking based on identifying modern day health issues and looking towards brighter healthier futures.

Students also have the opportunity to make a difference to their schools by entering the School Prize category. This involves developing a school project proposal based on a new and/or improved health initiative.

The School Prize is valued at $5 000 and is to be awarded to the successful school for implementation of their project. Students entering this category also are required to present their digital project and accompanying poster to a panel of judges.
