Top-up scholarships

The Griffith Institute for Health and Medical Research (GIHMR) strongly supports the Faculty's RHD students in their pursuit of an externally funded National Competitive Scholarship and as such, will offer a $5,000 top up if you are successful in rounds during the period May 2008 - May 2009. Many external scholarships are well worth the application - being national in scope they are often the most well-known and lucrative to be received. In 2007 for example, the stipend plus allowance for an NHMRC Scholarship started at $21,231 with $2,000 per annum for conference travel and the purchase of consumables related to the scholarship.  

Receiving an externally funded National Competitive Scholarship marks you with a stamp of excellence that can open doors!
