The Griffith Health Institute (GHI), established in 2007, is a large multidisciplinary research institute with a focus on chronic disease prevention - specifically cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease and mental health and an approach that encompasses behavioural, molecular, clinical and population components of research.
Research Programs
GHI has six research programs, each specialising in a particular research strength. As a result of this breadth of expertise, the Institute is well positioned to provide novel responses to major health issues affecting Australia and the world.
