Health Education Ambulance
The Go Health Go Griffith ambulance is a vehicle designed to take health education out to the community. The mock ambulance uses simulation manikins for education and interactive lessons on health, pharmacology, safety, first aid and other health related issues.
Schools are able to book the ambulance for classes and experiences in disciplines such as human biology, exercise science, physiology, anatomy, pharmacy, dentistry, human services and environmental health.
The outreach program will travel to community locations for events in health promotion, health awareness, health education and support community programs in diabetes, cancer, mental health, child and family health.
The health education ambulance initiative is also supported by the Gold Coast City Council.
