Dr. Vanessa Reher

Dr Vanessa Reher is a lecturer in General Dental Practice. She is the First Year Advisor for Dental Science, Coordinator of Operative Dentistry for year 2, and for the Clinical Dental Practice Module in year 3. She is also one of the mentors in the Griffith Honours College Program.
Dr Reher was appointed as a Sir Samuel Griffith Lecturer and also received commendations for Excellence in Teaching and Dean’s Teaching Commendation since she joined Griffith University in 2010. Dr Reher has published papers, abstracts, two textbooks and 14 book chapters and her research interests are in the learning and teaching field, periodontology, anatomy and public health.
Ms Jane Evans

Jane Evans leads the Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology. As the inaugural dental technology academic in the school she has researched and developed the following courses that comprise the dental technology program:
- prosthetic technology
- laboratory practicum
- material science
- research
Her doctoral research evaluates the influence of an interprofessional dental technology curriculum.
She is committed to bringing dental students together to learn, with, from and about each other so every member of the dental team feels they can/are contributing to the overall patient care and community.
Associate Professor Jeroen Kroon
Associate Professor Jeroen Kroon leads teaching in Public Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry across all of our dentistry programs.
He has received a Learning and Teaching Award and several Dean's Teaching Commendations since joining Griffith in 2006.
His research interests are in preventive dentistry, fluoride and health care systems as well as educational research.
