Dental technician student in the laboratory

Griffith offers a comprehensive range of dentistry and oral health degrees which are known for their innovation and practical relevance.

The Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science offers a new, innovative curriculum where you will receive real clinical exposure from your first year of study, and you will work alongside oral health professionals who are world experts in their field.

You will also study and work alongside students of Dental Technology, Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene.

Our innovative Dental Technology degree is the first of its kind in Australia and was the first new dental degree in the country in almost 60 years.

As a student, you will have access to world-class facilities within the Centre for Medicine and Oral Health, co-located with the Griffith School of Medicine. These include a 54-chair dental clinic, commercial dental and clinical skills laboratories, high-level IT facilities, and research facilities.

You will have the opportunity to undertake community placements in state schools, and in Indigenous and aged care. You will also work as part of an oral health team (including dental, oral health therapy and dental technology students) to undertake a research project that identifies an oral health issue and provides solutions.
