Full academic titles are available to health and medical professionals who make a significant and sustained contribution to Griffith's teaching, research and/or service activities.
Academic titleholders receive a title that recognises their level of experience and expertise, and enjoy a range of other benefits including access to the University’s extensive library and information technology facilities.
A message to health professionals from the Pro Vice Chancellor (Health)
Critical to Griffith's past success and our future ability to continue to develop and deliver high-quality health education and research, is the involvement of our many Academic titleholders. The dedication of these professionals to training the future health and medical workforce and advancing knowledge to benefit the health of Australia and the world deserves the highest praise.
To our past and present Academic titleholders, I commend your dedication to your profession and thank you for your tremendous contribution to the University. To health professionals who are currently not Academic titleholders at Griffith, I encourage you to consider applying for an academic title. The benefits of holding an academic title at Griffith are significant, and the opportunity that it presents to contribute to a bright health future for Queensland and Australia are substantial.
I look forward to your involvement with the University as an Academic titleholder and to working to continue to advance Griffith’s health education and research.
Professor Allan Cripps
