The General Sir John Monash Awards enable outstanding individuals to further their education and contacts overseas and so prepare them for their future leadership role.

Award winners are assessed to be outstanding achievers and potential future leaders, who will make a significant contribution to Australia. Applicants who are going to make a difference to Australia's future have formed beliefs and their plans and actions show they are driven to achieve them.

Value and conditions

$50,000 per annum

Eligibility and other requirements

Applicants should identify in their applications universities (up to three universities) to which they have sought acceptance (even if subject to obtaining the Award) and state the order of their preference.
