Cambridge Australia Trust Scholarships
The Cambridge Commonwealth Trust administers a number of schemes of awards in collaboration with the Cambridge Australia Trust for outstanding scholars including:
- Poynton Cambridge Australia Scholarship
- Oliphant Cambridge Australia Scholarship
The Bragg Cambridge Australia Scholarship, Cambridge Australia Trust R A Fisher Scholarship for Science and CSIRO Cambridge Scholarships are awarded by the Trust from time to time.
In addition to the above scholarships, Australian applicants will also be considered for the Gates Cambridge Scholarships and the Cambridge Chevening Scholarship

- 1 year coursework Masters
Value and conditions
University Composition Fee at the home rate, approved College fees, a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student and a contribution towards a return airfare.
Eligibility and other requirements
- Outstanding academic merit
- Bachelors degree with First Class Honours or research Masters degree
- May not be held in conjunction with an award from the Association of Commonwealth Universities
Closing date
- Cambridge Deadlines: Admissions students must have applied for graduate admission, either using the GRADSAF paper form or online, by 15 December OR by the course deadline if it is earlier. ORS applicants must tick the box at the top of Page 1 indicating that they wish to be considered for all sources of financial aid offered by the University. ORS applicants must also complete Section B (Financial Aid) in full.
How to apply
Students apply for scholarships via the Graduate Studies Application Form (GRADSAF) either online or in paper form. Applicants must complete Section B of application form to be considered for all awards for which they are eligible.
