About this workshop
Designed for research higher degree supervisors seeking insight into the role of Chairperson of Examiners in regard to the examination of Research Higher Degree thesis.
The Chairperson of Examiners is responsible for considering reports of examiners and for making a recommendation to the Dean, Griffith Graduate Research School on the outcome of the examination. University policies and procedures and real examples from a panel of experts will assist staff with decision making consistent with high academic standards. Best and worst case scenarios will also be presented for discussion.
