Find Your Voice - Across Cultures
What is Find Your Voice ?
The Find Your Voice workshops are designed to help International AND Domestic Students :
- increase awareness and understanding of other cultures.
- discuss cultural similarities and differences.
- interact with people from different cultures.
- gain confidence in speaking English.
Workshop Topics.
Some of the topics discussed in the course include :
- Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions.
- Body Language Across Cultures.
- Language and Stereotypes.
- Cultural Differences regarding Time and Personal Space.
- Language for Discussions.
- Culture Shock.
- Lots of Discussions and more....
Get a Certificate.
Students who attend and satisfactorily participate in 6 weekly sessions (not including the final week) will receive a certificate of completion which might look good on your resume.
