General English develops communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing and increases grammatical accuracy and extends vocabulary to improve English for work, study and travel
English for Academic Purposes
English for Academic Purposes develops academic study skills for students with a high level of English proficiency who are planning to enter programs at tertiary institutions
Direct Entry Program
Direct Entry Program is an English for Academic purposes program for students with high level English language skills who have a Letter of Offer conditional on achieving the English level required for entry into a Griffith University program in the next semester. Students who successfully complete DEP are eligible to enter their degree program without taking a formal English test
English Test Preparation
English Test Preparation prepares students for the IELTS and ISLPR tests. It is recommended for students who are not eligible for DEP
Cambridge Preparation
Business English Certificate Vantage Preparation is for students who will be taking the internationally recognised Cambridge BEC Vantage Exam
Mixed English and Academic Program
Mixed English and Academic Program combines English language study with one subject from the Diploma or Foundation program for students enrolled at Queensland Institute of Business Technology. Entry into this program is subject to a placement test.
