Printer and toner cartridges
All inkjets, laser cartridges, toner bottles, drum kits, fuser kits, printer cartridge units of any brand from any fax, photocopier or printer can be recycled with zero waste to landfill from the recycling process by placing them in the RICOH/Close the Loop recycling bins typically located near major MFD printer areas. All metals, inks, dyes and plastics are recovered from the process and remanufactured into recycled products such as outdoor furniture, "e-wood" and stationery. Griffith University has two outdoor seats made from recycled cartridges. These seats are blue in colour and are located at the Nathan and Gold Coast campus.
If you cant find a bin, place it in a plastic bag and have it collected with the internal mail and delivered to Uniprint. Direct your enquiries to Uniprint.
