Paper
A waste audit of the ICTS offices across all campuses revealed that over 50% of the waste to landfill consisted of recyclables, including office paper, newspaper and cardboard. These products should not be placed in your general waste bin.
Paper recycling
Every employee should source a paper box to be placed under their desks. When this box is full it must be emptied into the large blue paper bins.
If you need one please contact the Facilities Manager (ext 58888) or Business Services Manager on your campus or grab a suitably sized cardboard box.
At each photocopier and other strategic locations, there should also be 240 litre bins for paper recycling. These bins are red with a blue lid.
It is the responsibility of staff to empty their desk recycling box into the large common recycling bins. Not sure what can be recycled? See below for a full list.
