Research expertise

  • Scholarship of learning and teaching the design of learning and training strategies
  • Management of change processes at individual, group, organisational and community levels
  • Conflict management, grief counselling, learning and teaching effectiveness, interpersonal effectiveness, couple relationship education and professional supervision
  • Supervised masters and doctoral research projects in areas such as mentoring, workplace communication, bullying nd the design of learning and training strategies

Current teaching areas

  • Professor Wilson is the GIHE Senior Fellow of the First Year Experience and the Health IDEAS Program Director of the First Year Experience. She works with academic, professional and administrative staff to further develop practice in first year orientation, engagement and retention at Griffith.
  • Professor Wilson is also Chair of the Griffith University Educational Excellence Committee which contributes to enhancing learning and teaching quality across the University.
  • Professor Wilson contributes to the School's undergraduate and honours programs in areas such as interpersonal skills, community, counselling, organisational psychology, and process facilitation.
