Course convenors
The Course Convenor has a key role in assuring the quality of Griffith's academic programs and in facilitating student success at the University. The Course Convenor therefore is required to demonstrate competence in the subject area of the course they are convening; knowledge and understanding of the principles which underpin effective student learning; and experience in selecting and using a range of teaching approaches and assessment methods.
This site includes resources to assist Course Convenors in fulfilling the responsibilities of their role including:
- course planning;
- course design and development;
- course delivery;
- selection of educational resources;
- assessment;
- students learning outcomes; and
- course evaluation.
