The GIHE recognises that academic staff have a range of support needs depending on their years of experience in higher education and the range of duties in which they are engaged. Particular groups benefit from specialist practitioner networks and targeted development opportunities.

We provide scholarly and evidence-based resources and professional development support for staff who belong to specific groups or who have key leadership roles within the University including: beginning academics, casual academics, first year advisors, course convenors and program convenors.
