Griffith's 2011 Celebrating Excellence in Teaching Week provided exciting opportunities to celebrate the achievements of our award winning teachers and to hear about successful innovations in teaching through keynotes, symposia and showcases.

Highlights included:

• the University's Celebrating Teaching Gala Nights which featured an awards ceremony and presentations from staff who won national and Griffith awards for excellence in teaching
• the Celebrating Teaching seminar on Friday, 4 November with featured speaker ALTC Fellow Jacqueline MacDonald, who led a practical session on establishing and sustaining communities of practice
• symposia and showcases on key learning and teaching priorities at Griffith including Blended Learning; Assessment; Global Citizenship; Work Integrated Learning; Career Development Learning and Service Learning
• a Program Leaders Forum
