Grants and awards
Recognising and rewarding excellence and innovation in teaching are features of Griffith's commitment to enabling and supporting staff.
The GIHE contributes to a university-wide strategy for recognising, rewarding and promoting excellent teaching practice. We provide a range of supports including information sessions on institutional and national teaching grant and award opportunities and priorities; workshops on preparing applications; and mentoring and peer review of applications. Resources on documenting and evidencing teaching excellence are also available to support teaching award applications and academic teaching portfolios.
The GIHE collaborates with the University's Educational Excellence Committee and the Academic Secretariat in keeping staff up to date with funding and professional development opportunities provided by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council.
