Better teaching

Griffith's arts students learn from some of the country's leading academics and professionals in their fields.

Professor Wayne Hudson, from the School of Arts, Media and Culture, is a great example, having won the Individual Teacher Award in the 2004 Australian Awards for University Teaching.

Griffith plays a major role in education and training for federal and state public services and works closely with organisations such as the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission, the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), United Nations University and Queensland Health.

Even other universities learn from Griffith's arts experts.

More than 20 tertiary institutions from across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia have adopted a public relations text co-written by Griffith academic, Dr Jane Johnston. Public Relations Theory and Practice is the first PR text written from an Australian perspective and is evidence of Griffith's smarter approach to communication.
