The University has a tiered structure for managing equity. At the peak level the University's Equity Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Vice Chancellor and Council through the Deputy Vice Chancellor. Its major role is to enhance the coordination and accountability of equity provision across the University. The Committee provides advice and recommendations about policy matters, and advice and assistance with the development, implementation monitoring and evaluation of these policies.
Issues may be raised through Deans, and other senior managers with responsibility for equity planning and reporting, by contacting the secretary or chair of the committee.
Staff and students may have issues considered by the Committee by contacting us.
