Contact details for Professor Rodger Tomlinson8

Research interests

  • Historical assessment of coastal climate variability, coastal erosion and inundation
  • Modelling of climate change impacts on open coastlines and coastal waterways
  • Inner-shelf/coastal zone flows, in particular mass transport near river entrances and tidal inlets, and marine vortices
  • Coastal urban catchment stormwater management
  • Assessment of the impact of coastal developments on hydrodynamic and sedimentary processes
  • Long term morphological change modelling in coastal waterways
