CoastEd
Gold Coast City Council and the Griffith Centre for Coastal Management have developed the CoastEd program as a key component of the Gold Coast City's integrated coastal management plan.
Coastal Educators deliver a range of educational services to school and community groups each year as part of the CoastEd program, with sesssions held in classrooms or outdoors within coastal environments. Opportunities also exist for involvement in coastal activities such as dune planting or beach clean-ups. Funding is available to deliver sessions to a limited number of schools and community groups free of charge, but schools are encouraged to book early each term to avoid missing out on the fully funded sessions. CoastEd sessions are also available on a fee for service basis.
If you would like to book a CoastEd session please download and complete the 'Expression of Interest' form and forward to the Program Administrator, Peta Williams at peta.williams@griffith.edu.au or telephone 07 555 28530 or 555 28506 (fax 555 28067).
