Our conference facilities are competitively priced with comfortable seating for up to 120 people. We offer a range of audio visual aids and catering services.
The EcoCentre caters for both Griffith University and general public events. More information is available for both groups in the main navigation menu.
Function rooms
Conference/seminar facilities are based upon two beautifully furnished rooms that look out onto the forest. These are the BHP Room (30 people) and the Austa Energy Room (30 people).
For larger groups, these two rooms open to create one large space that seats up to 100 people, theatre style.
Additional spaces in other university buildings are available during non-semester periods.
Refreshments and lunches are taken on a 20 metre covered verandah, looking out over the forest. Just please do not feed the birds or goannas!
These diagrams are examples only and provide illustrations of seating plans for one room (up to 30 people). These plans can be replicated for up to 60 people for a two room booking – and up to 100 people in theatre style.
People with special needs
We are very responsive to people with special needs and can assist with any requirements relating to disabilities or diet. Parking Bay K provides easy access for people in wheelchairs visiting the EcoCentre.
Terms and conditions
The hire of the EcoCentre for both Griffith university clients and non-Griffith clients is subject to terms and conditions [PDF 180k]. Please read this document carefully, as it outlines our cancellation policy which will result in fees to last minute booking cancellations. All booking forms recieved must have the box ticked to indicate that you accept our terms and conditions.
