Thesis
Relationships between viruses and the toxic cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) Cylindrospermoposis raciborskii in South East Queensland drinking supplies
Description
Investigate the relationships between viruses and blooms of a toxic cyanobacteria (Cylindrospermoposis raciborskii), determine environmental factors that influence viral control of the toxic cyanobacteria, and to understand human viral pathogen survival and infectivity, in the three major water reservoirs, Wivenhoe, Somerset and North Pine Dam, which supply drinking water to South East Queensland.
