Biography

Dr Han's research interests focus on the spatial and temporal changes in urban forms, networks and systems; in particular the dynamic changes occurring in response to constrains and opportunities within a spatial context. While completing his PhD in the area of urban social geography at the University of Queensland he also worked for AHURI, one of the leading national research centres. His research has been recognised both in Australia and internationally, receiving awards for the best written journal paper of the year (2004) by the Journal of Housing Studies Review, and the best conference paper (2008) by ANZRSI. He has published over 20 peer reviewed research papers including four high impact Tier 1 journals with SSCI and continues to work closely with the members of URP, research institutes and government organisations. Dr Han is currently a member of RSI and an Associate Member of Australian Property Institution.
