Project description
This project develops a measure to assess the potential of any proposed urban development, whether it be new urban growth or an urban renewal/in-fill project, to achieve changes in travel behaviour. The proposal develops a GIS-based decision-support system that uses accessibility as an attribute of a land use development proposal rather than as an attribute of the transport system, and that is based on real-world travel behaviours.
