Project description: This research involved an exhaustive review of best practices in HIA for built environment projects and a series of interviews with state and local government agencies. The work has led to the development of proposals within government for the development of more limited HIA frameworks, with particular attention to supporting non-motorised mode projects.

Smart Brisbane: Making place for social diversity in a knowledge city

Project description: The project examines the role of social diversity in the construction of a Brisbane knowledge precinct. The research is structured around a case study of the Boggo Road - Princess Alexandra Hospital precinct, a key area as identified by the Queensland Government's Smart State Council.
