Project description
This paper identified the profound and adverse impacts of housing market changes in Brisbane on housing opportunities of low and modest income households. Firstly, some basic demographic shifts are outlined, followed by an examination of the current state of various sectors of the Brisbane housing market, including the affordability of rental and home purchase sectors. Estimates are also made to quantify the future need of affordable housing in Brisbane.
