Project description
This project considered the Edmondson Park development proposal in Western Sydney in terms of the likely social outcomes arising from the development, including the affordability of housing availability and access to employment and transport services. The tone of the report is intended to be both critical and constructive, such that any inadequacies or unanswered questions about the Edmondson Park proposal are highlighted, while potential measures or alternatives for addressing these problems are articulated. Specifically, the objectives and measures identified in the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy Ministerial Directions Paper of sustainability, livability, and competitiveness are evaluated.
