Partnerships and collaboration
The Centre has developed successful collaborations with industry and other research organisation. These provide the basis for access to world-class research and management practices. The areas of research and the associations formed are listed below:
Catchment Management Studies
- Belleng Pty Ltd and the ARI, Griffith University are the sub-consultant on Mudgeeraba Creek Management Study.
- Bank stabilisation trials in partnership with ELCO Pty Ltd.
Co-tutelle PhD programs focussing on wave dynamics and sediment transport
- University of Toulon, University of Nantes, facilitated through the FEAST, which has sponsored the Centre's Student Intern Program.
Tidal Inlet Dynamics
The Centre together with the United States Corps of Engineers, Queens University, Canada, Delft Hydraulics, The Netherland and the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency have worked collaboratively in the following areas:
