Coastal Management Lesson Plans

A series of Coastal Management lesson plans from years 1 to 12 are now available. These plans, developed by Dr Julliette Goldman, Senior Lecturer for Griffith University School of Education and Professional Studies, were prepared as part of a collaboration between SEQ Catchments and Griffith Centre for Coastal Management using financial support from the Natural Heritage Trust. The lessons are in line with the Education Queensland Curricula and are targeted at specific age groups. The lesson plans can also be adapted to suit different grades. Each plan includes teacher information, activity sheet and  a self-evaluation and assessment sheet.

These lesson plans have also been incorporated into Gold Coast City Council Ready Set Teach program where over 100 lesson plans are provided on a series of local topic for all grades.
