Clean Beach Challenge

The Keep Australia Beautiful Clean Beach Challenge, facilitated by the Environmental Protection Agency, is an exciting event and a great way for the Gold Coast community to play an active role in contributing to the condition of local beaches and foreshores.

Some ideas on how to get involved include:

  • Get together with friends/family and adopt a beach
  • Involve your local school
  • Host a beach clean up, followed by a sausage sizzle
  • Get your hands dirty with a dune planting/weeding session
  • Encourage local business support - donating refreshments or prizes for Clean Beach Challenge events
Promote your plans locally and get more people involved. The list is endless!
