Tugan Bypass Frog Recommendations and Monitoring
Frog monitoring of compensatory ponds for the Tugun Bypass. This included reports of recommended practices and design aspects of the compensatory ponds.
Providing instruction on the IUCN classification of all Australian Frogs.
Jean-Marc Hero organized and facilitated an IUCN workshop (Tasmania, February 2001) to assess the current conservation status of Australian frogs. The EFRT compiled the final classifications and species profiles for 212 species. The profiles are currently available to view on the Australian Society of Herpetologists web site. The proceedings will also be used to create an Australian frog Encyclopedia that can be continuously updated in the future.

Threatened Species Profiles for the 30 threatened frog species. These species profiles are available on the Department of the Environment and Heritage web site. Nomination of the IUCN listings for listing under the Commonwealth Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Act is in progress.
