Products Knowledge Solutions

Centralising their operations, ecospecifier moved their national office from the EcoCentre to Tingalpa. The EcoCentre is still the exhibitor address for ecospecifier, where builders, designers, architects and the community can look at products marketed on the Ecospecifier website. Their website can be accessed from two computers which contribute to the Ecospecifier display.

About

ecospecifier is a guide to eco and health preferable products, materials and technologies for the built environment construction sector, specifically targeted to the needs of decision makers and specifiers. It responds to the growing body of public and private sector clients, and individuals, who want to save energy, water, use resources sustainably, minimise pollution and ecological footprint and reduce negative human health impacts by:

  • Providing greater clarity about what is and what is not 'green'.
  • Enabling easier indentification, specification or location of eco and health preferred products.
  • Facilitating greater understanding of the issues surrounding ecoproducts, providing clear, independently assessed and unbiased information.

Aim

To help building professionals including architects, designers, builders and specifiers as well as keen homeowners, to shortcut the eco and heathly materials sourcing process. Its broader aim is to help create a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable and healthy products, materials and design processes.
