Professor Eun Woo Nam works in Department of Health Administration, College of Health Sciences,Yonsei University Wonju campus. Also, he works as a Head of Healthy City Research Center, Institute of Health and Welfare, Yonsei University, Republic of Korea. He received his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Yonsei University at Wonju in 1984, Master of Public Health in Yonsei University in Seoul 1986 and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Public Health) from Toho University, Japan in 1991.From 1992-1993, he was a visiting researcher for the Department of International Health, Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Tokyo in Japan. From 2002-2004, he was a visiting researcher for the Department of Policy Sciences at the National Institute of Public Health in Japan. From 2003.3 -2003.9, he was a visiting scholar for the Department of Health Promotion Faculty of Health at the University of Brighton in UK.
He also works for the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WHO WPRO) as a Temporary Adviser (2009-2011). He is a Vice-President of Korean Society of Health Education and Promotion(2011~2012), also globally elected board member of IUHPE (2002-2007, 2007-2013).
Recently, he joined with Centre for Environment and Population Health, Griffith University in Australia as an Adjunct Professor (2011-2014). His specialized fields are health promotion, healthy cities, international health and public health.
