Queensland State Government
CEPH has a strong working relationship with Queensland Government agencies such as Queensland Health (and in particular, the Population Health Branch) and the Division of Workplace Health and Safety.
CEPH believes that an integral part of the learning process, and in particular in public health leadership, is to learn from public health leaders and experts who are current or recent practitioners. CEPH has a large and committed membership of current or former government individuals who provide support to CEPH's teaching and research activities through guest presentations and discussions, student supervision and mentoring. In addition, these partners also assist in facilitating field visits to showcase practice.
In addition, the international collaboration efforts of CEPH are supported by the Queensland Department of Premiers and Cabinet, through the international collaborations division.

International partners
CEPH staff have an established and growing network of international partners which contribute collaboratively to research and teaching and learning efforts. CEPH's contribution to internationalisation of teaching and learning have been recognised through wining the 2008 Best Practise in International Collaboration category in the Queensland Education and Training International awards. This award recognises outstanding achievement of an institution in developing positive collaborations with an overseas institution or industry group.
China
The CEPH Centre has established a fruitful working relationship with many academic, Chinese government and non-government institutions in the areas of public health leadership and health promotion capacity building for disease control and prevention, Gender and women?s health, environmental health and healthy settings, occupational health and botanical medicine for population health. Key partners come from the national, provincial and municipal levels of Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Beijing, shanghai, Hangzhou, etc), Guangdong Provincial Health Bureau, Women?s Research Institute of the All-China Women?s Federation, and Universities such as Peking University, Sun Yat-sen University, The Peking Union Medical University, and Zhejiang University. Vietnam
Vietnam is a key partner of CEPH and CEPH staff have a history of collaboration on issues such as healthy cities and workplaces.The current Director-General of the Vietnamese Ministry of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health is a graduate of Griffith University and has good understanding and strong interest in CEPH's goals and philosophies. CEPH is also currently hosting an Endeavour PhD scholarship award winner who's PhD work is examining the potential health risks of pesticide use on Vietnamese farmers. Taiwan
The CEPH Centre has established close working relationship with many Taiwanese government and non-government institutions in the areas of Gender and women?s health, environmental health and healthy settings, health promotion capacity building and botanical medicine for population health. International Centre for Development, Environment and Population Health
On November 18, 2005, Professor Ian O?Connor and Vice President of Peking University, Professor Lin Jianhua, signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of a joint academic and learning centre between the two universities to be located on both the Nathan Campus at Griffith and at Peking University in Beijing. The joint International Collaborating Centre for Development, Environment and Population Health (IcDEPH) located at Griffith was officially opened during a visit by the President of PU in June 2006, whilst the IcDEPH at PU was officially opened in Beijing in May 2006 during a visit by our Vice Chancellor.
