The Relationship Between Biodiversity and Ecosystem Function in Mangrove
Description
My research will focus on differences in ecosystem function resulting from the macrobenthic and microbial diversity and abundance at various spatial scales. Function of mangroves will be assessed mainly in relation to the production and processing of organic matter. The thrust of my research would be on how mangrove diversity will affect organic matter production, and its interplay with macrobenthos and microbial diversity and abundance.
