Small Scale Hydrodynamics in Seagrass Habitats: Implications for Juvenile NektonDescription
Seagrass habitats are critical marine habitats forming extensive, diverse and complex ecosystems parallel to coral reefs. This project aims to determine if nekton utilize seagrass canopies for their ability to reduce water flows during tidal conditions in the Gold Coast Broadwater, to aid in conservation and revegetation of these important marine ecosystems, by determining flow reductions, nekton diversity and abundance.Supervisors
