Research interests
My research interests include adsorption and biosorption processes for pollutant removals and associated biomass utilisation for adsorbent, developments; ecotoxicity of environmental chemicals including the behaviours and health effects of pollutants in air and water environments, toxicity modelling for long term environmental exposures, and health risk assessment by using probabilistic techniques; and water and wastewater treatment processes including biofilm reactors for wastewater treatment and advanced oxidation of organic pollutants. Research interests also include biomass gasification and biogas production from organic substrates.
