Architecture Information Evening

Architecture Workshops

Year 8-12 students

Monday 2 July – Tuesday 3 July 2012

Studio Mitt is a collaborative architectural practice actively involved in architectural design education within South-East Queensland universities. Studio directors bring their experience and enthusiasm for the design process to workshop sessions, which provide an opportunity to learn more about studying architecture at a tertiary level.

Secondary school students who are interested in studying architecture are invited to attend a 2-day workshop at our Gold Coast campus.

GUESTS Program

Year 12 students

The Griffith University Early Start to Tertiary Study program offers you the opportunity to sample university life by allowing you to study a single course (subject) at university while you are in semester one or two of year 12.

Upon the commencement of your degree in the following year, you will receive full credit for the course and it will then count towards the requirements of your degree program.

Unireach program

Year 12 students

The Unireach program aims to give students at selected Brisbane and Gold Coast secondary schools assistance in improving their academic performance to gain entry to Griffith. Students are selected with the support of principals, teachers and guidance officers.

Experience days

Year 10-12 students

Experience Days offer you a great opportunity to get the real feel for University life and the area of study you are interested in.

This includes sitting in on first-year lectures and participating in tutorials and workshops. You will meet lecturers and staff from their area of interest, as well as like minded students from other schools.

The program for 2012 is now closed. However please visit the experience day website for updates on the 2012 program.

Campus tours and school visits

Year 8-12 students

We can organise for promotional staff including current Engineering students to attend your school or organisation to deliver an interactive presentation on Engineering careers and the highlights of our programs.

Alternatively, tours of the Engineering facilities and teaching areas can be arranged.
