Griffith University has a long history of being environmentally proactive and is continuing to implement safe environmental and sustainable practices. As the first Australian university to launch an environmental studies program, Griffith is continually developing graduates focused on sustainable and energy efficient programs and technology, raising community awareness for sustainable practices and works with industries in their strategic and operational plans.
