We have a reputation for developing innovative programs to meet technology advancements. In 2011 we launched mechatronic engineering on our Gold Coast campus, and in 2012 we are launching mechanical engineering.

Mechanical engineering will focus on the design, manufacture and maintenance of mechanical and machinery programs.

Mechatronics is a cutting-edge engineering discipline combining principles of mechanical, electronic and computer, and electrical engineering. Our program will equip you to

  • develop high-quality design, manufacture, design and analysis of mechatronic and robotic products
  • deal with electronic and computer systems to build and design programs
  • improve and maintain current systems.

Our School’s multidisciplinary expertise is built on research and teaching knowledge in
