The Institute has several research programs representing teams of active researchers. These include knowledge representation and reasoning, Software Quality Institute, computer vision, signal processing, user and societal needs, autonomous systems, semantic web, enterprise architectures, and network security. A vibrant synergy across all research programs and strong partnerships with external collaborators creates a stimulating research environment and drives our research agenda.
Our research outcomes cover both fundamental (ground breaking theoretical results) as well as applied (demonstrators, possibly in collaboration with industry and Government partners, which will have commercial potential) aspects of integrated intelligent systems.
