Credit for prior study
Griffith University awards credit for prior learning. Prior learning may relate to previous study undertaken at Griffith, another University, a training organisation, or TAFE.
Students who have completed a Diploma in IT are eligible to receive 80 CP towards the BIT at Work program; credit for specific courses will be dependent on the type of diploma. Diploma students can apply for direct entry through Griffith University admissions to commence in December.
Students with an IT Diploma are encouraged to commence in summer semester which commences in the first week of December each year. Students should contact Jo Culverhouse at j.culverhouse@griffith.edu.au or on 07 3382 1007 before December to ensure a smooth transition into the program.
Prior to or after enrolling, students are required to submit a credit transfer application through Griffith Admissions. IT Diploma students also have the option to commence in semester one and be eligible for employment help in semester two.
Please note this program is not available to International students.
