Research Expertise

Dr. Mohd-Yasin completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees at The George Washington University, USA and received his PhD from Ibaraki University, Japan under the JSPS RONPAKU Fellowship. He was an academic staff of Multimedia University, Malaysia and has written over 50 peer-reviewed papers and received several research grants in the area of integrated circuit design and MEMS, focusing on passive RFID chip design, noise measurement of micro-accelerometers and FPGA implementation of smart systems. He also served as technical consultant to several government agencies and electronics companies. In 2010, he joined Griffith University and is developing silicon carbide-based circuits and sensors at the Queensland Micro- and Nanotechnology Centre.
